Fifth service of the new years meeting (Saturday Morning)
December 31st, 2006 by JWSaturday morning’s service had a whopping 12 speakers! Eleven stepped up to make ‘5 minute talks’ and then an old pro brought up the rear :-) Making five minute talks are ‘young speakers’, that is young at speaking, not necessarily young in years. I always get in on the 5 minute talks, and was happy this year to be joined by a large group of other ‘young speakers’.
I was lucky number one and here it is:
Second is Derrick Guy:
Third is Austin McConnell:
Fourth is Jimmy Dunlap, from St. Albans, WV:
Fifth is Weston Moss:
Sixth is Brian Minter:
Seventh is Craig Marsh:
Eighth is Jerry Woodard:
Ninth is Fred Madison:
Tenth is Paul McKinney:
Eleventh is Matthew Tison:
and finally is good ‘ol Phillip Scott from Bandy, KY:
Take your time and listen up! If I made mistakes in any of the names, please let me know. Enjoy!
[Note: All of the players have my name on them when you hit play… I’m not sure why that is, but the sound files match the names I have listed. I’ll try and fix it when I get the time…]

An excellent OT story Justin. I think it is a very inspiring thought to think that God can overcome such great obstacles. As you well pointed out, we must be willing to do our part and not be slacking. Solid preaching.

Oh, and it’s really cool that you took the time to post all of those sermons. From someone who had to stay home in good ol’ WV, it is nice to be able to be edified from a distance.

Hi Matt,
I fixed your name in the post, sorry about that! I’ll have some more of the sermons posted when I can get back on my laptop. I left my power supply in my hotel room in Dothan! Hopefully I’ll get it back soon.
I hope to see you there next year!
