Ah the entrepreneurial spirit, captured so lovingly in fat-cat televangelists like Kenneth Copeland and trumped up reality TV shows. Following in the footsteps of ‘Kosher‘, that is, Rabbi blessed foodstuffs, a company has now decided that Christians need to get in on the act, with…Bottled water. Bottled water carrying the above warning (or pretty near). Read on for a story that will have you saying, “(H2)O, brother.”

I found this news story about some ‘holiday’ traditions in a small region of spain and simply had to share with my blogites. You’ve got to click this link:
HA! A log that poops out presents, thats a much keener idea than ol’ Saint Nick if you ask me. I mean, if we’re gonna make up a holiday and all its trappings, why not pick a cooler icon than one that promotes overt commercialism, slave labor, animal cruelty and morbid obesity? I predict that once news of this Catalonia tradition gets out, Santa will be ‘wiped’ out. I think I’ll get to baking some of those ’sweets shaped like feces’ to hand out at church this Sunday, I’m sure I could ‘dump’ them off on someone. Well, I just had to share and get that ‘load’ off my mind.
In related news, I was shocked on this first-day-of-winter-eve to find evidence on my porch that a snowman had visited already:

How often have you made such a statement as the title of this entry? We all use phrases like this, and normally in a positive manner. Marketing companies have long since figured out that we are a society that loves convenience. We see the word “convenient” stamped on all sorts of products these days to make things look more appealing to us. For example, how many food items have you bought lately that have a “convenient resealable package”? Such a small thing, yet it is indeed convenient and many of us may pay a few cents more for the “conveniently” packaged product instead of one that (if you can even imagine) you may have to place into a zip-loc bag on your own. You can probably think of some things that you’ve purchased lately that you bought precisely for its convenience factor. I recently spotted (at my local Wal-mart…where else?) a tried-and-true piece of Americana that has recently undergone a transformation to make it more convenient, and let me tell you, this is going to be a real time-saving; productivity-increasing upgrade for me. The product?
